I had a tight deadline, a live platform, and a dashboard that needed to be rebuilt without disturbing the users already on it. The solution turned out to be a pattern big enterprises have been using for decades. It was my first time implementing it. Here is what it actually looked like.
I wanted to use only Stripe. Apple and Google rejected me twice for trying. What I learned setting up subscriptions across three platforms is that the work is not difficult, it is just time-consuming, and the difference matters.
